HOW

1. Transform Public Safety

  • Develop programs that cultivate trust between communities and the police.

  • Ensure Public Safety and the Adult and Youth Criminal Justice System are aligned and have the resources they need to reduce recidivism.

RELATIONSHIPS MATTER

2. Prioritize Economic and Workforce Development

  • Support equitable business development, champion Western Riverwalk expansion, and rebuild the Benjamin Barnes Branch YMCA.

  • Improve ridership experience, support the 5-Year Transit Capital Plan, and expand Tuscaloosa Transit Authority (TTA) Bus Route.

3. Enhance Community Engagement and Education 

  • Encourage community engagement, strengthen business partnerships, and build Intergovernmental relationships.

  • Advocate for parents and ensure they are empowered partners in education
